Once Oracle Exadata is online, you will marvel at its unique capabilities. In addition to being amazingly fast using industry standard Intel® Xeon® processors, Oracle Exadata’s innovative compression technologies (such as Oracle Hybrid Columnar Compression) shrink the amount of space needed to store very large volumes of data 10x to 15x—as much as 5x the industry average. At 40 gigabits per second, the InfiniBand network linking Oracle Database servers to Oracle Exadata Storage Servers is many times faster than fiber channel, with lower latency.17

Smarter Performance Eliminates Tuning
